Dear friends,
I would like to share with you my wonderful experience in Morocco this Spring…

Please join me from the 19 - 25 September 2010 to discover the colours of Marrakech. Using watercolours and wax pastels we will capture the light and atmosphere of this fascinating city steeped in history.

Our hotel, Riad Sahara Nour is run by a lovely French couple. This charming Riad has recently been restored in the local style with a peaceful internal courtyard with flowering trees and a pretty fountain. It is situated in the old Medina far from other tourists, no cars pass here.

They have a great cook who will prepare all our dinners. Breakfast and teas are included but not alcohol.

We will paint everyday, visiting the most beautiful places in Marrakech among which the Majorelle gardens where YSL once lived, the Medersa, the old Koranic school and the Bahia palace. Sitting in one of the bustling piazza’s at a café is one of the best ways to sketch and watch the world go by. A must is sunset in the main square Djemaa-el-Fnaa.

There will always be free time for you to luxuriate in a hamam and have a massage. Otherwise you can let yourself be tempted in the souk by the local vibrant crafts.

The price is €720 which includes half board and the painting course.
Not included: Flights to Marrakech. Transport to and from the airport (10 minutes) and taxis. Lunch, tips and entrance fees are also extra.

Places are limited - so if you would like to come please let me know with a non-refundable deposit of €150.

The course will only take place with a minimum number of 6 people. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at: or
